At Malborough we believe that the educational foundations put into place in your child's primary education are of paramount importance - children only have one opportunity. Our aim is to maximise those opportunities so that they leave Malborough with South Huish Primary with confidence and motivation, having achieved their personal best academically. We aspire to inspire children to enjoy their primary years and leave as positive, cheerful individuals who are full of hope for the future.
As a Church School we also believe that, as children are the citizens of tomorrow, they need to develop good relationships with their peers and the staff so that they can go out into the world and be tolerant and understanding of others. Our school ethos and aims reflect the Christian values which underpin our working lives at Malborough and form the framework which adults and children alike respect.

We believe that learning should be fun! We aim to provide a range and variety of teaching and learning experiences which children will find both interesting and rewarding. To this end, we often invite visitors to the school and organise planned visits out of school to ensure that children have access to the wider community. We also approach the curriculum in a cross-curricular way so that learning experiences for the children are both relevant and purposeful.
You are welcome to arrange a visit – come along and see our warm, friendly staff and children who will be pleased to welcome you.
Please take time to browse our site and find out about our small but very friendly village school.
